The Word of God tells us that the Church is one body, comprised of individual members having a supply necessary for the building up of the body of Christ.  At Living Word River Valley everyone is encouraged to discover and use the gifts and talents God has deposited in them to minister to others. The HELPS Ministry incorporates many different areas for people just like you to give of your supply.  Areas of service include Ushers, Ambassadors, Children or Youth Ministry, Bookstore, Hospitality, Facility Maintenance and much more.  No matter where you serve, you will find that giving of yourself was never so fulfilling and fun!

 Ministering Meals

We have discovered that the natural flow of a family can be disrupted with crisis, death, unexpected hospitalization for illness or surgery, or when an expectant mother is on bed-rest or has delivered. Ministering Meals is a short-term ministry established to aid families by providing meals. If you enjoy cooking and baking, you can bring help to families in their time of need.  Pages Bookstore

Pages Bookstore is a full-service Christian Bookstore with an emphasis on victorious living. We provide the life-changing Word of God through Bibles, books, teaching CD’s, DVD’s, music and more. Some authors we stock include Mac Hammond, Lynne Hammond, Kenneth E. Hagin, Kenneth Copeland, Gloria Copeland, John Bevere, Mark Hankins, Joyce Meyer, Rick Renner, Billye Brim, Jerry Savelle in addition to others.  Community Groups

LWRV Community Groups are all about providing opportunities for people to build and strengthen relationships by providing activities, events and ministry, which promote a sense of community within our congregation. Groups for men, women, families, couples and singles make church life at LWRV fun and exciting. If you enjoy planning, serving and having fun, this is a great place for you to get plugged in. At LWRV we don’t believe in happenstance, but that God brings people to us. Because God loves and values every life, it is important to us that every person feel His unconditional love by being warmly greeted and made to feel at home in a new environment. First impressions are powerful and can make the difference in people being open to the very life-changing ministry God brought them here to receive. Ushers/Security

The Ushers and Security Ministry of LWRV provide structure for order and safety at every service and church event. Security personnel patrol the facility and grounds before, during and after services. Ushers serve the congregation and pastors during the services by providing practical support, so that all things are done decently and in order. Facility Maintenance – Inside

Men and Women who have a heart for excellence meet weekly on a rotational basis to keep our facility clean, organized and maintained. It is our joy and privilege to serve the body of LWRV by providing a beautiful facility for God’s Word to be ministered each week. Facility Maintenance – Outside

LWRV is situated on 15+ acres of land, which is beautifully maintained by a team of men and women who serve on a rotational basis. The Well

If you are single or married between the ages of 18-30 you HAVE to experience The Well. You will have a blast getting together with people who are passionate about their love for God and crazy enough to do just about anything for fun! Through a variety of activities and gatherings, there is ample opportunity to get to know and develop relationships with people who share your interests and enthusiasm for life! The Core

Single and married people in their 30’s and 40’s will find this community group to be a lot of fun. Don’t expect to sit around and jaw! Get ready to enjoy all kinds of indoor AND outdoor fun with others in your stage of life. Camping, hiking, cookouts and movie nights are just a few of things this group enjoys doing together. Prime Time

Whether you are married or single, if you are in your 40’s and up this community group is for you! Through a variety of gatherings and activities this group meets about every 6-8 weeks for fun and fellowship. Come be a part and get connected with others who love God and are in their prime of life! Hospitality Ministry

This area of ministry coordinates food and refreshments for events and LWRV functions like Connect, Get Acquainted, Pot Blessings and Receptions for church events, always with an emphasis on beautiful presentation. They also provide food service for all our Guest Ministers including meals, beverage service and gift baskets and bags. Church Social Events Ministry

Paul and Cindy Barnhardt lead a group of committed men and women who develop, coordinate, and host our all-church events, including pot-blessings, summer blast at the pool, movie nights, and fall harvest extravaganzas to name a few.
