School Year Declaration and Prayer

I declare in Jesus Name this is going to be an amazing school year!

I thank You, Lord, that my kids have the mind of Christ and they will excel in every subject.

Thank You that they are disciplined students, who apply themselves and use their time wisely.

I declare in Jesus Name, that they will acquire knowledge easily.

I thank You that You are positioning them in areas of influence in their school. That every class, teacher, project and team they are a part of will be made better because of their influence and insight.  I thank You, Lord, that they will rise up and be the pastor of their school. That they will lay hands on the sick, preach the Gospel to the lost and minister to the brokenhearted!

I declare that they are respectful and responsible. They are loving and kind. Honesty, compassion, generosity and joy fill their hearts.Their footsteps are ordered by You and they will walk with purpose, freedom and determination. They will not compromise and they will keep themselves pure. They will guard what they see and hear, they won’t allow anything displeasing to You into their mind, heart and life.

Lord, I praise You that my kids will be surrounded by Godly friends, and the influences around them will be pleasing to You. I break off the power of the enemy and say, you can’t have my children. They are covered by the blood of Jesus, designed by God, and destined for greatness. You will steal and disrupt no more! No weapon formed against my child will prosper! No sickness or disease will come upon them!

I choose life for my family and I prophesy: My kids are amazing! My kids are a blessing! My kids have greatness on the inside of them and they have a God-given destiny.

Lord, I thank You that Holy Spirit is leading them. Goodness and mercy are following them. Godliness and integrity are guarding them. Favor is surrounding them. Your anointing is on them. Your Word is in them, and You are hovering over them.

I send them into this new year with anticipation and belief that every step, conversation, adversity, and triumph will be surrounded by you. Thank you for going with them!

Holding The Door Open – A Father’s Day Message

Within our stories lies the power we need to overcome. Some of us struggle to recognize the overcoming power in our own story, as so many of them still hold loose ends, moments of intense loss, or perhaps unanswered questions. Paul so beautifully reminds us that it is “in our weakness” that Jesus is seen and made strong- and so therefore we can boast in our weakness! It is often our own stories of brokenness and pain that Jesus rides in with overcoming power.
