Intimacy – It is to know God, and be known by God, deeply, truly, intimately – and be seen and loved as you are, wherever you are, completely – and encountering the love of God so personally, we form our lives around around Him, and become more and more like Him!
The desire that should drive the life of every follower of Jesus isn’t to earn God’s love and affection as a wage, but to receive it as a gift. We are invited to rest in and enjoy His presence, letting go of performance and proving, holding onto the intimate connection with God’s Spirit that we access through the completed work of Jesus Christ.
