“You’re single?”
Does that question bring up annoyance, frustration, shame, or even resignation?
Many of us who are single have to confront questions about our identity, ongoing loneliness, what to do with our longing for a partner, and how to engage our current season of waiting, dating, or post-married life.
These questions can leave us feeling frustrated, uncertain of our place, or on hold as we wait to no longer be single. But is “no longer being single” really the solution we need?
Absolutely not. If you are single, it is a life to embrace, not just endure. You are not cursed, and you are not half a person because you aren’t married. You are called to a life of fullness and purpose. When Jesus called us to a life of following Him, it came with a promise of fullness of life in Him (John 10:10) that wasn’t contingent upon our “relationship status.”
“Single + Thriving” is a class for all ages who are single (18+). Whether unmarried, divorced, or widowed, our heart as a church community is to lift the pressure off of you to be something other than fully alive and at peace with who you are and where you are right now. You are a complete, spiritually, and emotionally whole person, and we want to encourage you with the glorious vision Jesus has for your life.
Come with us as we journey together into the heart of Jesus to discover how to live fully alive in our singleness.
