Spring Giving Initiatives

As we look ahead to Spring and Summer, we’re excited to share new opportunities to partner together in bringing God’s Kingdom to life. Here are four initiatives we invite you to invest in as we continue to grow as a church family

Through our Community Helps Fund (CHF), we provide financial support to families and individuals in our church facing emergencies, unexpected expenses, or hardship. Your gift to the CHF helps us be the hands and feet of Jesus, offering practical care and hope to those in need within our community. Our CHF currently sits at $4.38. We would love to have $5000.00 to give away over the next 6 months.

Summer Camp is just around the corner, and we love seeing the generosity of this house in sending our kids to camp each year! This year, we’re getting a jump start on donations for our youth. Every dollar you give will directly lower the cost for each camper or help us send an adult leader to support our teens during this life-changing week. Give today and be part of shaping the faith of our next generation! (Currently we have raised $0 toward our goal of $3000.00)

Easter is just a couple of Sundays away, and we want our building to be ready to welcome our community and new guests on that special Sunday. Your gift toward Easter preparations will help us refresh our spaces with new plants, decor, and general maintenance – both inside and out – ensuring a warm and inviting environment for everyone who joins us. (Currently we have raised $0 toward our goal of $1000)

Give to our Easter Upgrades

Last Easter, we celebrated moving into the Great Room, and it’s been an incredible year experiencing Jesus and community together in that space! As we pass Easter 2025, we’re saving up to renovate the rest of our building, including seismic upgrades, new bathrooms, a commercial kitchen, and an ADA elevator (allowing us to use the upstairs for classrooms and a dedicated kids’ area, making our upstairs space more accessible and welcoming for all). Expansion is around the corner as we grow and fill this building – but right now, we’re saving and planning! After completing the Great Room project, we currently have $0 in our Building Fund.

Within our stories lies the power we need to overcome. Some of us struggle to recognize the overcoming power in our own story, as so many of them still hold loose ends, moments of intense loss, or perhaps unanswered questions. Paul so beautifully reminds us that it is “in our weakness” that Jesus is seen and made strong- and so therefore we can boast in our weakness! It is often our own stories of brokenness and pain that Jesus rides in with overcoming power.

Why You Won’t Hear Us Use The Word “Tithe”

Tithing is Biblical in the Old Covenant. It was the basis of a Monotheistic society and existed in place of a taxation system. What is not Biblical is to take the Old Covenant culture, context, and Law and teach it in a New Covenant reality, placing believers under pressure, expectation, or obligation to give at least 10% of their income to the church to “be Godly,” “pleasing to God,” or to “righteous.
