People of Promise

When we are people of God’s PRESENCE, we are people who carry PROMISE.

2 Cor. 1:20 – “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ, and so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us for the glory of God.”

Heb. 10:23 – “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

GOAL: To stir up people to live their lives founded on the Biblical promises of God (7700 of them), and to hold onto (or revisit) personal promises without making their fulfillment an idol.We believe that God’s promises manifesting in our lives are the tangible expression of God’s attributes.Who He is is the backing of the PROMISES He gives to us.

• Personal prophetic words (and promises God has spoken to you)  aren’t GUARANTEES, they’re INVITATIONS to know and trust Him deeply.

This series will challenge us to…

• Deal/confront doubt and disappointment when it comes to promises you are holding. (Give them back!)
• Live with your eyes on the Promise giver, not just the fulfillment of the promise.
• Live by faith in what we hope for. Not miserable until the promise is fulfilled.
