We want Living Waters to be one big community of transformation, but how would that happen if our "big" community wasn't also made up of a bunch of small, healthy, Jesus-looking groups of people passionate to know Him and make Him known? That's how God used a small group of followers number about 150 people to change the world, and that's how he'll use YOU to keep it going!
Lament is exercising our ability to feel sadness and grieve by giving time, space, voice and expression to our deep sorrow over pain, loss, and disappointment. Lamenting is admitting that there are parts of ourselves and our lives that are undone, feeling them, and inviting God into them - because when God is with us in it, being undone does not mean we are unsafe or unprotected!
The metronome is a tool used to identify the “tempo” (speed) of a song, to help prevent speeding up, dragging, and to tighten our individual playing and playing as a team.
Let's take a look together and be spurred to dig deeper than the surface level understanding of overused and cliches passages of Scripture. God has more to show us if we're willing to engage Scripture with an open hearts and sharp minds!
Sunday Gatherings are great - but for going deeper or simply connecting with a smaller group of people - LW Community groups can be your expression of church. Meeting over a meal, sharing on Zoom, worshiping on the porch - there are so many vital expressions of what the Church is meant to be and can be as we embrace the possibilities of community.
You are who your Father sees, who He created you to be. You are unlike any other, and all creation waits for you to be revealed in your true form – abiding in intimacy, awake to your identity, and accessing your inheritance – fully alive in Christ.
