Holiday Giving Initiatives

Find opportunities to give this holiday season.

Three giving opportunities.

01
Christmas Blessing

Each year we ask for a special gift to be collected that is specifically used to financially bless and benefit the team that serves full time at Living Waters.

02
Construction Project

Our current goal is to ensure this facility remains safe and usable for generations to come because of that we are pursuing a vital seismic retrofit project.

03
Jamaica Missions Relief

We have a timely opportunity to extend compassion to those impacted by Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica.

I want to send this note out as a personal invitation for you to join me in consideration of a Christmas Blessing to our incredible staff at Living Waters.  I would love to be able to bless the staff with a significant gift that allows them to begin 2026 with an abundance of provision for their own homes and families.

Most of the full-time staff are bi-vocational – working full time at the church, and then even more on the side.  They are incredible businesspeople, bakers, creatives and musicians as well as the teachers and pastors of this house.  They work and dedicate themselves to serving and expanding the kingdom here – not because it is lucrative but because they are called and committed, anointed and passionate in their service and obedience to the Holy Spirit.

Serving beside them as a volunteer is a privilege for me, and it has provided more than a decade of the best experience I could have ever hoped for in a church community. I am constantly amazed at how hard they work, how passionate they are in their service, and how they are always seeking to benefit and serve the people who call Living Waters their community, tribe or home.

Each year we ask for a special gift to be collected that is specifically used to financially bless and benefit the team that serves full time at Living Waters.  This year I am asking that you not only consider and pray for what the Lord would have you do in response to this invitation – but also want to invite you to let that be your first step in also considering serving alongside them in the coming year.  Our teams are always looking for more volunteers to connect with, invest in and serve beside.  So please join me in giving to the staff here at the end of the year and also consider if the Lord would have you join in serving as a volunteer on one of our many teams that support and make our church such an amazing place.

We are so grateful for the building He has entrusted to us – a sacred and unique building in the heart of our city that God is using for gathering, but also for our community and outreach in our city.

Our current goal is to ensure this facility remains safe and usable for generations to come, especially in our seismically active region, we’re pursuing a vital seismic retrofit project. This work will strengthen the structure, enhance resilience, and allow us to continue hosting gatherings, ministries, and even serve as a potential community resource in emergencies.

This project represents an investment in stewardship and long-term Kingdom impact right here at home. A designated year-end gift toward the “Building Seismic Retrofit” will help move us toward bringing the entire building up to seismic code in 2026, give us full use of the building – upstairs and downstairs – and allow us to move on bathroom upgrades and building a commercial kitchen.

In addition to supporting our ongoing ministries, we have a timely opportunity to extend compassion to those impacted by Hurricane Melissa, the devastating Category 5 storm that struck Jamaica on October 28, 2025—the strongest on record to hit the island.

Skip and Janice Robinson, beloved part of our LW Community and missionaries who spend part of each year in Jamaica, live in one of the hardest-hit areas in the southwest. Through their simple “helping hands” model of ministry, they use donated funds to rebuild homes, provide practical care for residents in and around their home, and host worship nights that bring hope and community. They are passionately committed to reaching their friends and neighbors for Jesus while loving them in tangible ways amid the ongoing recovery.

Any gift designated for this missions endeavor will directly aid rebuilding efforts and share the light of Christ in the aftermath of this catastrophe. If the Lord leads you to support Skip and Janice’s work in Jamaica, click the button below  or mark your in-person gift accordingly (e.g., “Jamaica Missions Relief”) and drop in the giving box at the back of the Great Room or in the Lobby. Thank you for considering this chance to invest in eternal Kingdom impact during a season of great need.

End of year giving.

As 2025 draws to a close, many of us are reflecting on God’s faithfulness this year and prayerfully planning for the year ahead, including reviewing finances in preparation for the 2025 tax year.

If you’re in that season, we gently invite you to consult your tax advisor about the potential benefits of year-end gifts to qualified nonprofits like Living Waters Church. A contribution before December 31 can support the ministry you love while offering meaningful tax advantages for 2025.

Every gift entrusted to us advances God’s Kingdom: transforming lives, strengthening families, serving our community, and sharing Jesus’ hope locally and globally in 2026 and beyond. Resources directed toward eternal purposes bear lasting fruit.

If the Lord leads you to partner with us through year-end giving, whether cash, stocks/bonds, a donor-advised fund, or another way – we would be deeply grateful.

Thank you for your faithful financial support!  We look forward with you to all God will do through our community in the new year.
