Moving Forward in Prayer

Just a quick update this week to remind you how much we appreciate you and value the contribution you make to the work of the Kingdom in our family!

This week.

Baptism Sunday (THIS Sunday!) is such a time of encouragement and rejoicing. Pray for the people who are making a declaration of their love of Jesus and the receiving of his love for them. We cannot wait to share in this celebration together!

Look back to our previous emails, and let’s continue to commit to praying faithfully for the things God put on our hearts. The building project is now officially “underway” as work parties have begun and that equates to financial provision! Pray for the teams that come to serve on Tuesday nights; their productivity, their unity, their vision and their prayers to literally be building every part of the expansion of our church and family.

Ryan showed all of us the book Praying Like Monks, Living Like Fools, at church on Sunday. If you haven’t gotten it yet…get it!! It’s so encouraging and will keep all of us even more connected as we move forward in prayer.

Tyler Staton, along with several other speakers, are hosting a prayer conference at the end of the month. I wish we could all go in person, but it’s not exactly close by…so the next best thing is virtual attendance. I will be joining this conference online and would love to partner with any of you who could also participate. Check out this link below and feel free to either respond to this post or contact me if you have any questions.

I am praying for each one of you this week as well and every place Holy Spirit is encouraging you to stand in prayer, persevere in prayer, lead in prayer, and listen/respond in prayer. It is increasing my faith to walk in this beside you, and we are working now on a schedule for a time to do that again in person!

Have a wonderful remainder of your week, and see you Sunday for Baptism!

Holding The Door Open – A Father’s Day Message

Within our stories lies the power we need to overcome. Some of us struggle to recognize the overcoming power in our own story, as so many of them still hold loose ends, moments of intense loss, or perhaps unanswered questions. Paul so beautifully reminds us that it is “in our weakness” that Jesus is seen and made strong- and so therefore we can boast in our weakness! It is often our own stories of brokenness and pain that Jesus rides in with overcoming power.
