The Power of Spoken Prayers

This Thursday evening, we are inviting you to come together as the prayer team and, in partnership with the Leadership Council, to have a designated time of prayer in the 360 room at church.

We will have the opportunity to clasp hands in the power of corporate prayer, walk in the power of locational prayer, sit together in the power of receiving in prayer, and share together in the power of spoken prayers.

A quick introduction will start us off at 6:30, and we will be done by 7:30. We would love for you to join us! I am full of anticipation to have this physical representation of the kingdom all together (instead of only on a text thread!).

Continue this week as you have been, asking God as he leads you for financial coverage of our budget and filling in the gaps from last month (we ended July nearly $20,000 shy). The culture of our financial team is generosity, and we know that is an expression of God’s character within our church family and stretching into this city.

Thank you for your faithful partnership!

See you Thursday evening, 6:30!

Holding The Door Open – A Father’s Day Message

Within our stories lies the power we need to overcome. Some of us struggle to recognize the overcoming power in our own story, as so many of them still hold loose ends, moments of intense loss, or perhaps unanswered questions. Paul so beautifully reminds us that it is “in our weakness” that Jesus is seen and made strong- and so therefore we can boast in our weakness! It is often our own stories of brokenness and pain that Jesus rides in with overcoming power.
