A Story of Unwavering Faith
There are seasons when life doesn’t unfold the way we expected.
For Bob and Judi Kerlinger, a diagnosis of MS changed everything. Dreams shifted. Plans unraveled. Fear, disappointment, and questions became part of their story. But looking back, they don’t primarily talk about MS. They talk about the faithfulness of Jesus.
They discovered that even when they couldn’t see Him, He was quietly walking with them, restoring their hearts, healing old wounds, strengthening their marriage, and reminding them that He had never abandoned them.
One of the most powerful moments Bob shared was this: “God doesn’t have hunched shoulders, and He doesn’t slap His forehead and say, ‘I didn’t see that coming.'” Nothing catches God by surprise. Nothing in your story has taken Him off guard.
Judi shared another reminder that continues to anchor them: “When you lift your eyes, you shift your focus from the problem to the One who reigns above it.”
That’s the invitation this week. Not to ignore the hardship. Not to pretend everything is okay. But to lift our eyes and remember that Jesus is still present, still faithful, and still writing our story.
