This week, John and Kristin Eaton shared how Jesus has met their family again and again through seasons of need, provision, uncertainty, and surrender.
They talked about job loss, financial pressure, buying a home that felt impossible, and learning to hold everything with open hands. Their story was not about getting everything they wanted. It was about discovering that God is trustworthy, even when the path is uncomfortable.
Kristin shared the invitation to keep talking with God about everything, even the small needs and wants we sometimes think are too ordinary to bring to Him. John reminded us that God’s generosity is not ultimately about getting more things. It is about receiving Him, and learning to hold everything else differently.
As we practice generosity this week, may we become people who trust Jesus with what we have, ask Him for what we need, and live with open hands toward the people around us.
